I had the unfortunate experience of being treated by Dr. August last month, and I can honestly say it was one of the worst decisions I've ever made. From the moment I walked into her office, I felt an unsettling atmosphere. The staff seemed on edge, and there was a distinct smell of alcohol lingering in the air. My new dentist who replaced my retired dentist wanted wanted me to have 5 extractions and 4 implants. For a second opinion I went to Dr August who had done implants on me previously. After xrays, Dr. August didn’t see it needing to be done. I then switched to another dentist and now after 6 months of dental work, it appears Dr. August was correct, no extractions or implants required.
Dr. August is the type of oral surgeon who considers a chisel and a sledgehammer as her go-to tools. She swings away like a deranged caveman, completely oblivious to the concept of finesse and precision. Her dental office is a veritable house of horrors. People should avoid her practice like the plague, opting to suffer through toothaches rather than subject themselves to her sadistic methods.
