I have been a patient of Dr. Valero for many years, but the changing of nurses was a lot. The last one he had on June of 2024 is unprofessional and either a family member or got her training from the circus. The handing of patients paperwork and information is absent, you have to remind her of things she supposed to be doing. On my first vist to deal with my Thyroid issue, I find Dr. Gibson the be very matter of a fact and gave me clear instruction on how to proceed. No we did not chat, we just dealt with the issue at hand. I left the appointment with a clear understanding of the path I needed to take in hope of recovery.
Dr. McAllister was my surgeon, after being hit by a drunk driver who was running from the police. I was stopped at a red light when the drunk driver struck the back of my car. He was traveling between 80~90mph. The collision cause my C6 vertebrae to shatter. I don’t remember the accident, nor the next two weeks due to the shock. I have been a patient of Dr. Huffman for 2 years. You think you are getting good service because he seems to care, but don't hold your breath if you need anything in between appointments. I have been trying to get testing done for a condition that has to be done at UVA. All they require is a doctor's phone call. I talked about this with Dr. Huffman at my Oct 2023 appt, but was told they couldn't figure out how to submit the referral and to call UVA myself. I made a previous input back in 2019, I have since gone through an additional surgery at UVA in Charlottsville. This initial operation by Dr McAllister has been the biggest mistake of my entire life. After a fusion surgery at UVA which was needed, I'm still in severe pain and with neurotrophy in both feet and legs. The UVA Doctor said my lower back and associated nerves where shot Recommend anyone thinking about back surgery to think long and hard your life will never be the same. Ken Summerford

Dr. Billings performed my 2 step total collectomy & j-pouch creation back in 2015. I have recently moved to Fremont CA and recently got established with Stanford University and their Clinical Associate Professor for Gastroenterology is my new GI doc. After my recent scoping and report on findings asks me who performed my surgery as it was arguably the best looking j-pouch he has ever seen.
He is the best Doctor around. I really lucked out when i got him as a Doctor. You can always tell who was an A, B, C or D student in medical school. You just know Dr Larkin was an A student. He is a very smart guy and I totally trust him with my life. I cant say that about any Doctor that I have ever had in my 50 plus years of life.
Excellent! Dr. Jones is compassionate, thorough, and professional. She listens to my concerns and provides follow up. Highly recommend!
