A few months ago I was seen by another hand Doctor who immediately prescribed surgery as the sole remedy to my problem. We settled on a cortisone shot along with that Dr's explanation of how the hand will eventually become deformed without invasive surgery. My hand issue still persisted, so recently I was referred to Dr. Mehta, who quickly diagnosed and treated my problem. And after 2 days the pain and swelling decreased. ALSO, strength have returned to my hand once more. From here on... I'm on Team Mehta!
