I echo the previous negative review. I have been complaining to Dr. Khan about fragile nails and not feeling optimal for a year. Fragile ridged nails are associated with under-active thyroid. She told me "nail issues" were not related to endocrinology. And this is when it is written all over the internet that they are a result of hypothyroidism. I’m her patient - I was shocked that after checking fasting glucose and insulin despite all of my symptoms she declared I don’t have IR but after I told her to check homaIR which is a factor using same 2 tests in range it showed out of range and turned prognosis around. I had to propose ogtt and 2-3 other tests but she wanted only fasting glucose insulin. How’s ogtt less sensitive than this!?
