This was my first visit, and I was really impressed. After spending years seeing several different Rheumatologists, I felt it was a further waste of time seeing a new doctor about my problems. But I was pleasantly surprised. The receptionist (Maya) was friendly and efficient, and I soon had the necessary forms completed so I was ready to see the doctor. Dr Maxine has been very thorough with my case Everyone is different with their cases , immune systems and tolerance on different drugs / medications. In my case it has been trial after trial as I’m very sensitive on everything. To get the right medication and treatment, it is not an easy fix. It took a lot of time and patience to feel comfortable, and well managed with the disease. Those are the goals. I highly recommend Dr Maxine I appreciate her work, determination, patience tackling my health issues.

After discussing my current situation and dropping certain medications due to unpleasant side effects, Dr Max and I worked together to find another way to help my inflammatory arthritis pain. I felt she had listened and considered by concerns about side effects and in no way did I feel like I was asking stupid questions. I feel comfortable with Dr Max. She is not a person to treat you like you know nothing and is happy to discuss everything about your disease.
