Can’t thank Dr Guzman and the team enough, from the office staff to the nurses and all the staff at the QE11 building RPA, I had both hips replaced, one in August 2024 and the other in February 2025, absolutely true and caring professionals and people, thank you so much everything and giving me life again.
Dr Maurice Guzman is the most skilled and professional Orthopaedic Surgeon. We had met him through a friend’s recommendation. He recently operated on my 72 year old dad - bilateral total knee replacement. The surgery went perfectly successful and he managed to straighten my dad’s bowed legs. My husband had a hip replacement with Dr Guzman in August 2024. We are Wollongong based and locally on enquiry of local surgeons it was evident that the operation would be months away due to the scarcity of hospital beds in the region. Had both total knee replacements done by dr Guzman at the same time.He and his team from nursing staff to everyone in the operating theatre were amazing it’s been 5 weeks since the operation all done by robotics almost pain free still a bit to go he tells you as it is.If your looking for a true professional to do your knee replacements with the latest robotic technology less invasive quicker healing time hes the one to see.
My family found Dr Guzman dismissive and lacking compassion when delivering results. There was a sense of arrogance and sarcasm when questions were asked about options relating to treatment and further testing.
