I’ve read some of the other reviews and want to respectfully acknowledge that others have had experiences that sound truly difficult and painful. I suffer from chronic migraines that require medication. On several occasions, Dr. Filak-Allen has told me that she can only prescribe me nine triptan tablets at a time, with the explanation that it is all my insurance will approve. Since I might need all nine tablets in a 1 month period, this would require frequent “med refill” visits - which she can bill to my insurance. I sat on whether to write a review for a while and unfortunately, many months have passed by and I can still say that I feel Dr.Maureen Filak-Allen was negligent with my care. I hope this review helps someone pick a provider that sees them as a human and not another patient or statistic, because everybody’s situation and body is unique.
