Dr. Ricks is seriously the best! He will always tell you the truth even if not what you want to hear. He is so kind and funny on top of being an excellent surgeon. I have zero regrets!
So glad I was referred to Dr. Ricks for hernia surgery. Not only is he a great surgeon but so kind as well. I will definitely recommend anyone I know seeking general surgery to Dr. Ricks. Also would like to say his office staff are by far the nicest and easiest to deal with. It’s so nice to have a doctor’s office that actually answers their phones and happy to help you!

From the first time I met Dr. Ricks, he was patient, kind, and very informative. On surgery day, I was so nervous. He came to see me in my room about an hour prior and wanted to know if I had any questions. He sat down, chatted football with my husband for a few minutes, was funny and again so patient and kind. It made such a huge difference. He genuinely cares for his patients and everyone of the nurses assured me he was a terrific surgeon and I was in the best hands. Dr. Ricks & his staff are amazing to work with. I’ve lost 165 pounds total & have kept it off for over 3 years. I have referred many friends to Dr. Ricks & they all love him as well. He is funny, informative, & easy to talk to. My only regret is not doing this sooner!
