I absolutely love all the staff and Dr. Mervis is amazing. I’ve had doctors prescribe me medication without much explanation, but Dr. Mervis takes the time to explain everything and speaks to you in a way that is easy to understand. I also really like that there are only 2 doctors within the practice so you know who will be delivering your baby. Dr Mervis is highly regarded for his medical knowledge and for how much he cares about his patients. Other physicians recommended his practice to me. He makes me feel comfortable and empowered by helping me making decisions that are based in evidence, always taking the time to explain his recommendations to me. At every visit, he addresses all of my concerns and I always leave feeling like I have taken charge of my health care and am more informed thanks to his professionalism and care.
Great doctor, very nice staff, very clean office, calming atmosphere. Everyone is so nice there, Dr Mervis is very knowledgeable, has a great bedside manner and approachable, comfortable demeanor. Highly recommend.

Dr. Mervis is kind, patient and professional. Prime OBGyn is a practice that puts the patient first. I love that this is a quiet practice that desires to know their patients. Dr. Mervis always takes his time to listen to me and what is going on with my body. He explains his thoughts/recommendations thoroughly, always attempts to put me at ease, and encourages me to ask questions. He has been my Dr. for over 32 years and has seen me through plenty --- I can say with confidence that he is one of the finest.
I like Dr.Matthew R Mervis, MD. However,I would like to say about their computer phone system. That system is absolutely wrong. It makes VERY difficult to sch. your appt. or even call to the office with questions if needed. They never pick up phones.You have to leave a msg.Then they call you back EXPECTING you to answer ANY TIME!!! Really???! We had to change OBGYN's to be able to birth at Winnie Palmer because our son has Down's syndrome. We found Dr. Mervis in a very stressful time in my pregnancy. Everything about the Prime OBGYN practice from the first appointment to the delivery was nothing short of incredible. I had such a great experience that I will continue all my gynecological care with Prime OBGYN even though it's a 45 minute drive from my house. My husband and I are extremely grateful for Dr. Mervis!
Dr Mervis has the most incredible staff & runs his practice extremely efficiently! It was very unfortunate that towards the end of my pregnancy his patience and compassion ran dry & true colors began to show. He told me he likes to induce because HE gets a good night sleep before & he is not a fan of doulas or outside education (Bradley method etc.) he ended up being extremely rude when I opted to have a doula to help with a natural birth. The doula was irreplaceable in the end unlike Dr Mervis.
