This doctor is a joke he said I had external hemorrhoids he claimed he did surgery on me he lied it never happened because I went to another doctor for colonoscopy 3 months later the doctor told me I have external hemorrhoids.this sick doctor Matthew j. Dr Matthew Tierney is outstanding and I am thankful that he took care of my issue so quickly. He was quite empathetic and understood that it was not only painful, but it was interfering with my daily life. I’m fine now thanks to Dr. Tierney. He is an impressively surgeon in every way and I highly recommend him.
Dr. Tierney is nothing but amazing! I had to be admitted for emergency surgery two weeks ago for a hernia at BIDMC Plymouth and he was able to take my case the next day. He did it laparoscopically with no complications afterwards. His PA met me that morning and explained everything. I met him and he was nothing but caring and understanding and he explained what he was going to do. I would recommend him for any type of general surgery!
Dr Mathew Tierney is a wonderful surgeon, explained everything to me ,i asked questions and he really listens and cares , i was not very nervous going into surgery as I had all the confidence he was the best surgeon I needed , I have alot of medical issues and all were addressed prior to my gallbladder surgery ,when your surgeon is confident in their abilities, the patient is also, his medical team was wonderful, I want to thank Dr Tierney and all the medical team ,im out of all that pain and doing great
On thanksgiving night 2015. I was with a house full of family I had an emergency with my stomach. I was rushed to Beth Israel Plymouth. I was seen in the emergency room. After a CAT scan . It was determined that I needed surgery. I was lucky enough to have the doctor of his caliber on call. He saved my life. I know life a happy healthy life because of him. I highly recommend him.
