Psychiatrist that needs a psychiatrist. I won’t go into detail on here as he knows my thoughts on him in a detailed email. My advice to anybody is run.
Thankfully Dr Hocking is not my Psychiatrist (I have seen his methods of treatment) therefore my perception could be misconstrued however I do know that he is not personable. This is based on patients requiring empathy during rehabilitation that he treats. Mental health professionals should require the ability to engage with and support their patients rather than dismiss them or attempt to control them of which is often why their mental health issues ultimately occurred.
