He is awful words can’t describe his incompetence!!!
Dr. Edlund is extremely knowledgeable and caring. His treatment approach is progressive. He considers all aspects of my life. Diet, exercise, sleep patterns, counseling. An all encompassing, mind, body, and spirit treatment. So glad I found him.
Dr. Edlund was the first psychiatrist I've ever seen and I was nervous about what to expect, but he put me at ease and was able to dig deep into my situation to figure out what was really going on. What really impressed me was the way he was able to connect the dots and help address my core issue which wasn't anything I had ever considered. I highly recommend Dr. Edlund.
Dr. Edlund is excellent with medication decisions for depression. He takes time to talk with his patients and asks questions to learn how the patient is responding to the medication. He also always asks how everything is going in the person's life overall. His appointments are usually 30 minutes for each patient. However, there are circumstances when he gives a patient more time or less time, depending on the person's needs. Dr. Edlund presence is professional, in his manner and his attire.
Dr. Edlund uses a conservative approach, which is commendable. I believe he really cares and he is the only psychiatrist in Sarasota who has helped so far. I feel tremendously better with his prescribed medications and his calm and friendly manner. After seeing so many professionals who, basically, want me to be anesthetized for my challenges, Dr. Edlund is helping me wake up to the opportunities in my world. He is on time, returns phone calls, and has a lovely and considerate support staff.
Dr Edlund is very intelligent, competent and patient. He is conservative in approach attempting to adjust lifestyle but prescribes medication when necessary. We have been very pleased with the attention he has given us both in person and on the phone and highly recommend him to others who are suffering.
Dr. Edlund has been extremely effective for my well being. He blends expertise in drug management, combined with healthy living guidelines and cognitive therapy and general advice in his treatment of me. I have two friends who have since seen him as well and they too have benefited greatly. Last, but definitely not least, he really is a caring person. I am glad he is on my side.
