I went to the office because I kept seeing double. After three visits the doctor told me my issue was that I was cross-eyed, a condition that was never discovered even after wearing glasses for over 50 years. I was given what I thought was a prescription, and suggested that Costco would be a fine place to get new glasses. Turns out that I was never given the actual prescription, only a note regarding the level of prism. The problem is that Costco will only grind the glasses with both a prescription and the note about the pri... read more
I had seen other doctors before who had no idea how to help me. Dr. Kay knew exactly what was wrong and what to do about it. He made a very positive difference in my vision and in my life.
I saw Dr Kay at the VA at Bay Pines. He made a diagnosis probably more for the benefit of the resident doctor than for me. They discussed in their doctor language the lab rat that was there and forgot that I was there in more than just body. He did address my mind in that he said I should just live with it. Unbelievable he thinks he can treat people that way. I am going to live with it but I won’t ever accept that doing nothing is medical care.
Great and was very friendly and explained everything to me. Staff was great and especially Jackie from the start. I would recommend people to see Dr. Kay.
Very thorough, communicates well, personable, former Baskin-Palmer teaching staff.
I felt Dr Kay was a very knowledgeable and personable doctor. He explained everything in terms I understood and answered all my questions. Examination was very very extensive. All staff were very friendly and And did a great job. They made me feel very welcome and important. Most of all everyone had a smile and happy office. I recommend .
Tried to make appointment for 2 days, rude personal like literally all of them. Was on hold more than 45 minutes. Rude , feels like it is not doctors office... I’m glad I never made appointment
I wish I could say something about the doctor himself but the truth is we never got to see him. His office staff is HORRIFIC. After witnessing one girl being rude to her coworker on the phone, another shaking her head at a gentleman that wanted to be seen and had been denied asking “is he really going to ask again?” and as I approached them one of the girls held up her finger to me to stop me from saying anything. All I know is I will never return to this office and I will never refer this doctor to anyone I care about. They... read more
Waited for 45 Minutes past a 9:30 appointment. Staff never said they were running late. When we asked they said he was running late. Waited another 15 minutes to not be called back. Staff was rude. We left without being seen. We asked for his manager who was not on site. She was not available at either number given for her. Messages were left. Five years ago we had an equally dismal appointment with dr Kay. Nothing has changed. Piss poor patient care. If you can get any cate.
