10/10 for Dr Thyer and his team. An obstetrician who is professional, compassionate and kind. Look no further. He took my itchy skin complaint and I was diagnosed with cholestasis ( potentially deadly to my baby if not diagnosed). My baby girl was born 37+3 by c section- a calm and organised environment that I knew was for the safety of my baby. I found the professionalism was not there need to work on bedside manner as post surgery was left feeling not looked after. And made inappropriate jokes - at the expense of my body weight. Won’t be back. Endometriosis women seek advice and surgery somewhere else.
Dr Matt Thyer delivered both my girls. We felt so comfortable and cared for from the first visit. He is genuine, listens to you and includes you in decisions about your care. He is personable and has a great sense of humour. I was in great hands throughout pregnancy, birth and during my hospital stay. Couldn’t recommend him enough.
I went in to get endo removed and wanting a hysterectomy to cure my adenomyosis. It all started great, my first appointment went really well. Dr Thyer appeared to have a progressive, helpful attitude. The second appointment it was a different version of him, he'd forgotten most details about me and wasted 15 minutes of the appointment forcing me to argue my case for a hysterectomy even though it had all been sorted in the first appointment. From the very first appointment, Dr Thyer made sure that I was mentally ok as much as I was physically ok. He explained everything to me beautifully in a way that I would understand and not be stressed. When it came to the operation, I felt so completely at ease knowing I was in his capable hands. Can't recommend him enough for his compassion, kindness and professionalism. If I could give more stars, I would.
