Dr. Chen is caring and kind. The only problem is her receptionists. They don't answer calls much. I usually texted and left messages on the machine to make an appointment. I hope she can hire permanent assistants.
If you're a woman seeking treatment for peri-menopause or menopause this is not the right doctor for you. Dr. Mary Chen completely dismissed what I was trying to tell her regarding my symptoms and why I knew it was peri-menopause and what treatment I was seeking for my situation. Instead, without hesitation tried to put me on medication I didn't need and sent me to have tests done I didn't want or need. I did not feel listened to, cared for or understood by her so I will be seeking help elsewhere.
DR.CHEN is very good doctor. My wife used medi-cal insurance to see DR.CHEN. She is very patient to help my wife to go over every medical history.
Tried to call and make an appointment in a Monday morning. The call was handed up twice.
