I booked explicitly for an extraction of "A broken tooth" under unbearable pain. Woolsey came in to say "You will need to remove at least 3 teeth for 2 implants ", and left . Albeit I understand you may not be able to extract an infected tooth BUT a normal/human dentist would at least numb the tooth in any possible way to comfort the patient before acting as an implant sales man. Just had an abscessed tooth extracted and bone graft inserted in Dr. Woolsey’s office. For something I was dreading so badly, it was a great experience. His staff is professional and courteous, and his hygienist gave me the gentlest injections I’ve ever had. Dr. Woolsey walked me through every step of the process as he pulled the tooth, cleaned out the infection, and prepared the bone graft. I highly recommend him and his practice. Excellent experience and outcome so far.
I had an extraction with a bone graft at this office several years ago after having an abscess. it was advised if I wanted braces I should do it before getting my implant. I am now nearing the end of braces journey from a local orthodontist and just had my implant placed today. They are excellent in communication as I’ve had to consider various things along the way as far as timing of procedures between my orthodontist, dentist, and their office.
