IMO he genuinely cares about his patients as people and concerned about their total welfare. After about 30 years, I value him also as a friend. The few scheduling problems came with the UW association.
I have been seeing Dr. Cahn for years. He and his office are friendly, caring and thorough. I had an issue a few years ago with some serious possible heart symptoms and called his office for advice. The person answering immediately got Dr. Cahn who had me go to the nearest emergency facility. When I arrived, they had been pre-notified and were waiting, in force, to care for me and what turned out to be a heart attack. He is a great doctor that is calm and patient, but always focused.
UNTRUSTWORTHY UNTRUSTWORTHY! The front desk people will tell you one thing then over bill you for things that you never asked for. The office manager has anger and control issues and is total unreasonable. The doctor himself rarely remembers your previous visits and appears to be on drugs at times. Finally the assistant doctor (Annie) is the worse, she is clueless does not listen to you and makes countless mistakes that you have to pay for. If you are looking for a doctor do not go to this office.
We have gone to Dr. Cahn since my oldest was about 3 mo's old. Seven years later, one more baby later - still going! We love having a family doctor. He knows all of us & just the little things like getting all of our flu shots @ one time makes it great! I had high-blood pressure & was watched very closely by Dr. Cahn during my last pregnancy.
