Received a return call from this physician, as she was the MD on call for the PIIM group. Aa the POA of my 80 year old Father and a nurse for 30 years, I explained that my Father has body aches and temp of 100.4 and went for COVID testing but they were not tested for influenza. His results will not be back for 72 hours. Requested tamiflu as it indicated in elderly patients with symptoms of the flu within 48 hours of onset. She refused.
