I received 4 phone calls prior to my appointment with Dr Stilphen; two from Dr Stilphen and two from the staff. I was very pleased with the treatment I received in his care; namely the time he spent and the genuine concern. The staff was friendly and showed concern for me also. I am grateful!
Dr. Stilphen is a remarkable physician! He is very empathetic and compassionate. He is totally committed to the needs of his patients. In addition, he is entirely efficient in reviewing EVERY detail of his patents' history. He explains every issue in layman's terms. An outstanding physician.
Dr. Stilphen has been a great help in managing my type 2 diabetes, I am now 66 and have no adverse symptoms! He is also my primary care doctor and I will always be grateful for his excellent care when I was very sick with bronchitis.
During my first visit Dr Stilphen kept me waiting for over an hour. I asked his staff if he was still coming to see me and when he finally did get to me he asked if I had somewhere to go! I saw his NP another time and she did not know why I was there. A nurse had the wrong symptoms. Then two times the NP accused me of meeting her before which was not true. I had never met this NP. The NP did not verify my DOB so I wonder if she had my chart or another patients chart. I Will not go back!
I would not recommend this physician to anyone. Here is why: 1. He spent 95% of my appointment time (about 10 minutes) talking in to his phone for voice to text for his charting which consisted of him holding my paperwork and reading my responses into the phone (which he should do on his own time- not during the appointment). 2. Fraudulent billing- he was with me for about 12 minutes (10 of which he spent charting). He billed for "more than 45 minutes" so he was able to charge a whole lot more.
