I have been dealing with the Montreal West Vision Center for decades now. I am completely confident and trusting and grateful with the care that I have received by this clinic over the years. Just over 3 weeks ago I was given an emergency unscheduled appointment to see Dr. Santaguida for a condition that had developed. This business failed to provide me with a prescription for my vision after I asked several times for my prescription. The receptionist is also dishonest about the opening times. I went in for an eye exam on Wednesday, October 24, 2025 because my glasses had broken. The optometrist did my eye exam and said that there is no pressure to purchase glasses at this store, but to check out what they have, and if I find something I like, they would give me a discount given the unfortunate situation. I came as a new customer sometime last year. There was a sales person who was unprofessional even with optometrists present. The optometrist was also unprofessional - he made condenscending remarks and he kept cleaning my glasses with his dirty rag. He was nosy about what I do (telling him that I work on a computer was apparently not enough) and he decided to prescribe a much weaker prescription. Friendly, thorough and professional, makes the time to explain and you really feel comfortable during the examination. Great selection.
Love Dr. Santaguida and his team! They are absolutely wonderful & appointments are always on time and efficient. My entire family and I have been going to this practice for years - Mark is great with all ages and all eye issues, a true professional. Highly recommend and love the new office!
