I have had several procedures performed by him and couldn’t be happier
He has done 3 different surgeries on my hands over a 20 year period. Excellent results in all cases.
I have been a patient of Dr. Klug's since 1992. He has done a total of 14 surgeries on both hands. Last summer I had surgery on my left hand. I never regained use of it. I lost two members of my family 19 days apart and did not make it back in They say is the allotted time. I explained everything and yet they refused to do anything. They refuse to take my messages or return my calls. I played my copays upfront but they added more on after surgery. I had problem paying them if they fixed my hand.
While he is very nice, his approach is one surgery fits all. After two years I still can't comfortably use a knife.
Dr. Klug was recommended by a co-worker. He knew right away the problem with my hands and had a plan for my surgery. He didn't push the surgery but instead, he told me just to call when I was ready. Very satisfied with the results and will be scheduling my second surgery soon. If you are having hand issues, I recommend you allow him to be one of your opinions.
When I saw Dr. Klug for a trigger finger, it was necessary for him to press on different places to determine the problem. When I pulled back, he apologized and said it wouldn't happen again. And it didn't. He explained at length the problem, its probable cause and what he was going to do to fix it. He also cautioned as to what problems could arise. I was involved in a car accident that morning and was over an hour late arriving. He still made time to see me.
