Saw Dr. Porter in 2022 for knee pain. Did the requested MRI/Xray. He did not even ask me any questions or go over my information with me. Just told me I was overweight and that's why my knees hurt. All he could offer was injections. Lost over 70 lbs within the year and the joint pain ended up getting exponentially worse. Ended up going to the E.R because I was temporarily paralyzed and could no longer form sentences. Diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis and Lupus 12/2023. Had a complete knee replacement in Oct of 2019. Still can't walk on it properly after 18 months.Had another doctor tell me that Dr Porter put in too big of a knee causing excessive damage! There's a reason dr. porter no longer works at Parkview. Do your homework when choosing a doctor!
