I visited Dr. Mark Scott's office today on Airport Blvd in Pensacola FL, to address asthma symptoms. My visit was awesome! Dr. Scott was thorough and very detailed, and even asked if I had more questions, after I had asked many! He had great bedside manners and ordered more tests to ensure my health was good! The staff was courteous and the wait was only about 15 minutes. Thank God I found this pulmonologist!
I was very disappointed with my first visit with Dr. Scott. I was worried sick about a possible lesion in my lungs possibly being cancer. I am a retired nurse, and I am accustomed to this being a positive thing.I am used to being an active team member regarding my health care. Dr Scott was openly hostile about this. My primary referred me over for respiratory to Dr. Mark Scott. After more than a week they called. They insisted on me providing a major credit card number and debit card number to be on permanent file before they would see me. I refuse to give any card number to be kept on permanent file to anyone. Definitely DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS DOCTORS OFFICE. The Healthgrade review rating of 2.8 should explain the rest.
I starting seeing Dr Scott about a month ago. He will answer questions but make sure to double check his answers and get a second opinion. My first follow up was a month later and after telling him the meds weren't he simple up the dosage and made my next appointment for 2 months later. This did not make feel like he was concerned about me since I was already having trouble
