I was scheduled for a D&E, as a result of a miscarriage, with Dr. Finnegan as my primary OB was unavailable on that particular day. I was very uncomfortable having someone other than my OB complete the procedure, but I did not have a choice due to the urgent nature. Before my procedure, Dr. Finnegan came to speak with me briefly.
