I met with Dr. Melden after waiting three weeks for an appointment, which was reasonable. Parking was easy, which is always a plus. Before my visit, I read several reviews mentioning concerns about his bedside manner. However, my experience was different. I found him to be very straightforward, no-nonsense, and focused. Dr. Mark Melden is a joke. No good. Don't trust him. He enjoys putting people on antipsychotics when they aren't even psychotic. Unethical to the hilt. Shame on Mark Melden

By far the worst psychiatrist I’ve ever had the misfortune of coming into contact with in my life. He forced me to take the antipsychotic medication invega sustenna against my will, at the maximum dose, saying if I didn’t take it that he would have me sent back to jail and that he would tell my probation officer that I wasn’t being med compliant. I have OCD and am not schizophrenic, schizoaffective, bipolar, or psychotic so I don’t need antipsychotics but he forced me to take it anyway. I was forced to take it for about a ye... read more
