I am from California and consulted with outstanding physicians at UCLA, USC, Stanford, and Memorial Sloan Kettering. I met some of the finest doctors in the country. When I met Dr. Urken, I immediately felt I had found the right surgeon for me. It became clear very quickly why he is so respected in his field. Yes, I waited a long time in the waiting room. Surgery was ok. Dr Urkin is basically too busy to care. Waiting two hours in a packed waiting room for LITERALLY 3 minute visit was very upsetting. Unacceptable! If they are going to run two hours late, they should let the patient know. Everything he said at the visit could’ve been set over the phone instead they wasted over three hours of my husband‘s time collected a co-pay and that was it. Not impressed with bedside manner at all Administration needs to pay attention to this.

dr urkin did surgery twice on my husband and i would recommend him to anyone. he's very caring and excellent surgeon . i would give 10 stars if i could.
