Very caring when I had a stroke which affected my one eye. He explained everything well. Very caring and courteous.
Longer wait to see doctor at Elkhorn office but not at Burlington
Dr. Brower did cataract surgery on my eyes in March 2022, and the result is poor. He did not explain that I would lose my distance-eyesight created by Lasik 25 years ago or that I would need prescription reading glasses. Following surgery, my distant eyesight was gone, my eyes would not work together, I needed tri-focals (when I had only needed over-the-counter readers before surgery) that so distort my depth perception that I have trouble walking while wearing them, lights have larger halos than before the surgery, and I ha... read more
I am a Type 1 diabetic and therefore I see Dr. Brower once a year for my eye health. Dr. Brower is a learner-ed and a kind person who listens to his patients' concerns. He is engaging and takes the time to explain what he is looking for and keeps you informed of any changes in your eye health. I can't think of a nicer Ophthalmologist or of a better person to have in charge of my eye health. I believe I've been a patient for about 25 years.
I would highly recommend Dr. Brower. He has alot of experience and did a great job. I was nervous about getting cataract surgery but he explained everything and I was amazed at the outcome. It was easy to get an appointment within a reasonable time and his staff was courteous and informed.
