I saw Dr. Pruzansky after an ER visit where I was diagnosed with a hand fracture. He spent aprroximately 3 minutes tops with me and only returned reluctantly when I asked if I could pose a few questions. He sent his PA in and she, at his direction, placed a wrist, strap on splint on to my injured hand. This left my swollen knuckles and fingers exposed to the possibility of further injury and pain. Saw me for approx. less than a minute, sent me for xray in the other room, came back few minutes after to check the xray result and told me, "There's nothing more I can do. They've done everything, just wear the elbow strap, which helps, just a bit." Then handed me my chart so I can bring it to the receptionist. End of my visit. I wanted to CRY ??
Great PA Anna. Dr Pruzansky spent lots of time listening to me but also ensured he had done thorough testing before determining surgery was the best option.
Anna is great. Dr. Pruzansky is honest, straight forward and the top in his field.
I broke my wrist. Another doc wanted to do surgery, but he was very rushed with me, and I didn't want a plate screwed into my bones unless I was totally comfortable. I saw Dr. Pruzansky for a second opinion and am so glad I stayed with him. He took the time to fully evaluate my wrist and didn't decide to operate until he saw CT images. He took the time to answer all my questions and put me totally at ease. It was easy to get an appointment and I've never had to to spend much time in the waiting room. His PA is very nice too.
Dr. P was very personable and professional. He was very honest and knowledgeable about the benefits and limits of all the surgical and non-surgical options. He makes himself available for questions outside of the visit. Ultimately, because of his openness, I chose not to have the surgery and went only for occupational therapy. His office also helped me to find an OT.
I could not have been more unhappy with the outcome of my surgery.
