Excellent care for young athletes.
Dr. Halstead shamed my learning disabled son when he couldn’t say the months of the year after getting a concussion last week. He said, “Even my eight year old can say the months of the year.” It was a horrible experience. I would Not recommend anyone going to this doctor.
Dr. Halstead is an expert on concussions, especially for youth athletes. Parents who heed his advice and have their kids strictly follow his protocal for healing from concussions will be satisfied with the results even it takes more time than you might like. Better to give the brain time to heal than to rush back too soon. We are lucky to have Dr. Halstead in St. Louis.
