Dr. Mark Crossman is an incredibly knowledgable and thorough specialist. I'm so thankful to have had the opportunity to visit him, and hope to continue seeing him in the future.
I was referred to this specialist in my pursuit of a connective tissue disorder diagnosis. Unfortunately, that experience did not go well. I cried in the middle of the appointment, frustrated that I was not being heard, and I left the appointment in tears. A couple of things happened in a nutshell. He would not allow me to speak about my systemic issues (sleep, fatigue, and GI issues). The best specialist I’ve been to. He helped me with my pain that’s been going on for years. He gave great advice and guidance. He’s kind, intelligent, attentive, and joked around to put me at ease. (He reminded me of Robin Williams in the movie Patch Adams) I don’t know why he has negative reviews… maybe just some angry people out there impossible to please
He prioritizes his paycheque from icbc over the well being of his patients. He did irreparable damage while I was under his care and tried to dissuade me from seeing a specialist after him, knowing full well what that Doctor would deduce. That I needed immediate surgery within weeks. Every issue was immediately solved except for the damage Mr. Crossmans unnecessary prescriptions did to my body.
Horrific experience with Mark Crossman. He was almost 90 minutes late in seeing me. His receptionist threatened me that if I left I wouldn’t get another appointment. His behaviour was rude, patronizing, pompous, and unethical. He told me I needed injections, but I couldn’t afford them! Atrocious bedside manner. Complete waste of an afternoon.
