Horrible office! Cannot make follow up appointment even following cancer and serious kidney issue diagnosis at advent health winter park hospital, Dr. Lagatta really emphasized the importance of the follow up appointment post discharge and stent operation. The office staff was extremely short, unhelpful and unprofessional over the phone. What are we supposed to do in terms of follow up nephrology care? Makes you feel stupid for asking questions. Especially over sensitive topics. Prefer to not go to this doctor again. Highly recommend seeing someone else who will not say “I just explained it, did you not listen” and will continue to shut you down over a condition that affects your day to day life.
Dr. Lagatta has twice in the past 10 years treated me for extremely high blood pressure, when my GP's suggestions were not working. On both occasions he was able to devise and implement a treatment plan that helped reduce my BP to the normal range. I believe he really cares about his patients well being, and has been a pleasure to be associated with. I highly recommend
I was referred to Dr. Lagatta for kindney issues and blood pressure control measures. I have had only good experiences with Dr. Lagatta and his staff. I found him to be very pleasant and he listens to questions and issues and provides answers. He has been successful in controlling my blood pressure and providing information about kidney disease.
