Great with follow-up and is extremely thorough!
Dr. Baker most likely saved my life! She is hands down the best OB/GYN ever and I have had many being that we have moved a lot. My family history flagged her and she had me get genetic testing done. Turns out she was right...I have Lynch Symdrome. You can look it up, but basically I am a high risk for many cancers. Not only does she pay attention to facts, she listens, spends quality time with you talking before even examining you, and is simply amazing. Hands down...the best OB/GYN ever!
Over Two years, I was told by this doctor, prior to running any test or assessments of my history, that I was high risk and would have to come in more than normally required. I told them, if they had a justifiable reason for me to do so, than I would. This is when they dropped me. I found my second opinion and had a beautiful healthy baby boy and now, I am pregnant with my third child. I would never recommend the USF ob/gyn at Davis Island.
Dr. Baker is a great doctor and all around kind person. Very knowledgeable and helpful with an excellent staff. I would highly recommend!
I have recently lost my job due to a pregnancy discrimination issue and had to obtain Better Health Medicaid insurance. I called the location nearest me which is in South Tampa. My insurance company confirmed that they were taking new patients, however, once they found out that I was on Medicaid, they stated that I could not go to this location. They said that they are accepting new patients just not individuals with Medicaid. Individuals on Medicaid would have to go to their 30th street location. I am assuming this is their... read more
