Dr Patel has been awesome as my gastroenterologist. I am 81 years old and when I developed serious condition, he was SUPER thorough. He ran tests no one has ever done before on me. He is very humble and kind. I felt like he was very concerned not just with me but all his patients. All the staff are great including his PA Mrs. Gonzalez

Outstanding Dr. Personable, compassionate, knowledgeable. I highly recommend Dr. Guirl if you are needing a GI physician.
Not a good doctor. He miss diagnosed me and said nothing is wrong with my stomach. Second opinion from another gastrointestinal doctor and told me that is something wrong with me and I can’t eat solid food.
I wrote a review for Gastroenterology Consultants of San Antonio and a Heather Kerr ask me to call her, well I have 3 times and she has not returned my calls as of today 3/30/22. so, I think she ready does not want to talk to me.
