I have been seeing Dr. Vintimilla for three years and I think she is the best R.A. Dr. I have had in the 26 years I have suffered from R.A.
I have no experience with this doctor due the fact that she refuses to see me because I am not “sick enough” and don’t deserve to be diagnosed by her. My concern to be able to see this doctor was to rule out if I have or may not have RA, my primary care doctor did send her all the documents necessary to justify a first-time visit and she refuses to see me as a new patient. I was fired as a patient of Dr. V. I was out of town and was going into surgery.My doctor wanted to ask her if I could go off Methotrxate.She told him she hadn’t seen me for a year, which was not true.She had seen me 5 months previously. Because I had a hysterectomy and couldn’t travel for 6 weeks, I called to ask for a refill.
