If I could give her a zero I would. She does not listen, and did not give me a chance to explain situations. She is very judgmental and rude.
She just kept adding drugs and made my conditions worse. Also, staff at Suburban Psychiatric Center are disorganized, rude, and caused so many problems, including saying they didn't accept my insurance and tried to charge me hundreds of dollars after my appointments, before which they had told me they accepted my insurance. All-around horrible experience, I would not recommend to anyone.
Dr. Cartegena helped me through a hard time of mine, and I am glad to have had such a great psychiatrist. Maybe if all of you had listened to what she had to say, you wouldn't so disappointed.
Awful "bedside" manner. Had about 4-5 visits with her... she was abrupt and curt and didn't listen to my concerns/questions...she has the mentality that she's someone on high prescribing for a patient who can't think for him/herself. That's a bad recipe for a physician, especially a psychiatrist. Stay away or be prepared for this. This is only my experience, and only my opinion.
knowledgable; answers questions; wonderful "can do" atitude. Inspires confidence. I'd recommend her to anyone.
