Very disappointing experience. I would not recommend her services to anyone, and I feel passionate enough to warn others of her character. I was bringing my son age 11 to see her. We were looking for him to be treated to learn to manage his impulses and regulate his emotions. He has ADHD and anxiety. Unfortunate experience with Southeastern Counseling Associates, specifically with Maria M. Arroyo, LMHC. At the time of booking an appointment for my GF's son, Ms Arroyo was given all of the insurance information upfront. The first appointment (the intake meeting) went great. My GF's son seemed very comfortable with Ms Arroyo, and much to our delight, seemed very willing to meet with her on a regular basis.
