She threatened me with hospitalization because I weaned myself off a antidepressant I was taking for a situation that was no longer going on. I told her the medication had cracked my teeth. She told me if I didn't start taking a high dose of benzo per day immediately, she would have an ambulance come and get me. I did what she said and then found she was unwilling to help me get off and she was not legally allowed to do what she threatened. Now I am having to withdraw myself. Run from her and do not take benzos EVER.
Received reprimand for medical marijuana usage. When expressed concern, as the state says it is legal and safe, I was terminated from her practice. She also showed a lack of empathy towards my concerns. My advice would be if you have an OMMA card to not see this particular psychiatrist.
Dr had no time to learn about a pre-existing disease. Received reprimand for trying medical marijuana. Felt no support from Dr. A.
She shows no interest and doesn't listen at all. I tried to tell her what was causing my panic attacks and she cut me off in the middle of what I was saying.
I had no problem with the staff but often waited at least 30 minutes beyond appointment times.
Made me feel like I could not take an active role in my treatment and wouldn't give me referrals or resources (she asked me to seek it out myself). I felt alone and my medications were definitely wrong. In my opinion, does not research the medications she prescribes or does not ask anything other than "how was your week" which to someone with any knowledge of mental health care this signals incompetence. Would suggest more training as a solution
I have seen Dr. Arquisola for a couple of years. She never spends more than 2 minutes with me and doesn't seem to care at all.
I lost my insurance right before this appointment. I called to ask how much it would be, and they said $99. I kept the appointment, only to find out later that it was really $175. I called after to complain; as I felt they mislead me. They didn't care at all. Also, I discussed primarily depressive symptoms. She asked me a bunch of questions about manic symptoms, none of which I have. Yet she still somehow managed to diagnose me as bipolar, which to me signals incompetence.
Felt rushed (less than 10 minutes with her)...felt like she didn't want to answer questions and didn't listen...she wasn't oklahoma friendly (comes off cold)...
