New patient awhile ago; she reviewed my past medical record and seemed to become anxious and visibly and verbally overwhelmed. My new lab orders identified me as female, and had my name incorrect. An apology was made. ( I’m totally dude, lol) 2nd appointment, 1.5 hours to be seen. Last visit, thank you.
I was new to the state of Florida and needed to find a new internist.. I didn't choose Dr. Egan as my doctor because she projected disinterest in caring for my needs in the exam room and constantly interrupted the exam to fix her unorganized paperwork. Dr. Egan was easy to get an appointment with, and the staff was great, but Dr. Egan isn't someone I would ever go to, or refer anyone else to in the future.
