Disgusted with the mannerisms of the doctors husband, if you can’t communicate with patients without being rude and obnoxious; you shouldn’t be standing behind the reception desk! I arrive as the surgery opens because my daughter has woken-up sick and I’m concerned for her well-being. I explain the situation and I’m prepared to wait to see the doctor. My father had been going to the surgery on and off. My father was continuously complaining of gout (swelling of limbs), was given some sort of medication for the legs and fluid and every time I took him back, it was just a further script. So, this year upon my father entering a nursing home and the proper checks were done (CT scan/MRI) it turns out my father actually had an aneurysm in one of his major arteries that had been there for YEARS. Called to book an appointment, The person answering the phone didn't even let me finish, just cut me off and said "no appointments available". I didn't even say what day I wanted
My mother ( aged 91) has been a long standing patient of Dr Ho for quite some time. She is frail, lives alone and has had a few heart attacks. She went for a booked consultation recently after the mask mandate had been lifted by the Premier. When she arrived for her appointment the receptionist said to her “you must still wear a mask into Doctors Surgeries”. My mother did not know that she still had to wear a mask into medical centres.
