My sister went to see Dr Kinsella because of the joint pain she had been experiencing at the time. I decided to go with her for support, and to help my sister understand something she may have been confused about with what the doctor may have told her. I saw Dr Kinsella last year and never went back. I am going back soon because she is informative and thorough. She is very knowledgeable and acts kind of straight forward . I like that persona.
I went into this appointment with much hope, and left this appointment feeling like I wasted the hour drive, and explaining all my symptoms to another total stranger. My husband was made to wait in the car and listen and communicate during the appointment on speakerphone, and he stated that after the appointment was over “she seemed like she wasn’t interested in anything you or I had to say”. Dr. Kinsella flat out told me "if you'd eat better, you'd feel better" without ever reviewing my diet or having any idea what I consume. I weighed just under 200 pounds though, at 5'9" and that was enough for her, I guess. Moreover, she diagnosed me with fibromyalgia while repeatedly fat-shaming me. But it turns out I have psoriatic arthritis, an autoimmune disease that should have been obvious to her. Her misdiagnosis cost me dearly in terms of pain and loss of function.
