OFFICE STAFF UNDERMINES OVERALL EXPERIENCE I've seen Dr. Gallini since he started in practice over 30 years ago. I've been seeing his Phys Asst, Susan Messing for the past two years and LOVE her. HOWEVER the office staff is as rude and uncooperative as possible. It seems they make the visit as difficult as they possibly can. TERRIBLE AWFUL customer service!!!!!!! No time to work with patients -- No patience I've been seeing Dr. Ciampi since Dr. Ryder left to go to the Pentagon Tri-Care clinic. I loved Dr. Ryder, saw her at two earlier locations. Not impressed with Dr. Ciampi's manner or focus on yearly physicals which my insurance doesn't cover. I'm diabetic and all he wants to do is up my dosages on meds instead of helping me or referring to other doctors. My wife likes PA Messing, I've seen her twice. Williamsburg Square Family Practice is Great! I too have been a patient of the Williamsburg Square Family Practice for almost 20 years - I first saw Dr. Ciampi in 1992 and feel VERY comfortable there. I ended up seeing Dr. Ryder about four years ago when Dr. Ciampi and Dr. Gallini's schedules were full and fell in love with her style and her bedside manner. Love Mount Vernon Medical Group I was a patient of Dr. Ryder and loved her. I was very sorry to see her go. I have also seen Dr. Gallini, Dr. Ciampi and Susan Messing and have nothing but great things to say about them. Susan introduced herself, asked how I was and why I was there, and was very professional. I have seen her twice now and will absolutely see her again. I have been a patient of this group for at least 10 years and highly recommend them to everyone!
Great Medical Care Dr Ryder did leave this office but Susan Messing PA has joined this well experienced and well respected practice. Susan is thorough and an excellent clinician. Unlike "julie D" I had the OPPOSITE experience. My family have been patients with WSFP for several years. Dr. Gallini and Dr. Ciampi have been in practice for over 25 years and Susan is a wonderful addition. I think "Julie D" just may be difficult to please. Is there something wrong with telling a patient to schedule a yearly physical?
Don't go to this clinic Unfortunately, Dr. Mary Ryder has left this practice. She's been replaced by a brand new Physician's Assistant who has been indoctrinated into the new "policies" of the practice which obviously don't put the patient first. There is a new emphasis on getting a complete physical which I'm sure will increase the $$ intake into the practice, but may not be what is serving the patient best.
