Dr Factor is indeed a very competent and knowledgeable Endodontic in Markham, he was able to located additional root missed by my old dentist and remove a broken file that stuck inside my molar. Two visit and I was back in business. For all the bad review, his office is indeed priced on the higher end, if you are looking for a lower price endo you can shop around. I was quite disappointed with my recent visit for a diagnostic exam for a possible root canal. Unfortunately, the appointment felt rushed, and I did not feel the level of reassurance or patient care one would expect during a potentially stressful procedure. A great experience with Dr. Marc Factor. I have never had a root canal and was really nervous. Dr. Factor explained everything so well and his calming voice was very reassuring. I had laughing gas for the first time and Dr. Factor explained how that would feel and what to expect during the procedure. I was shocked at how I did not have any painful or uncomfortable moments, even when the needles were put in. The young woman who assisted was very lovely also. Dr Factor correctly diagnosed my toothache as a sinus infection, so I didn't need the root canal treatment that I thought was necessary. Thank you Dr Factor.
Dr.Factor did a really amazing job surgically treating my infected root canal. I thought he procedure would take hours, but he completed it less than 45 minutes and was really efficient. I followed his post-procedural instructions and my gums and teeth were healed within a week without complications. The dental assistants were also really great and helped make me less nervous entering the procedure. The receptionist was also really great and processed my insurance forms for me very quickly.
