A great experience with Dr. Marc Factor. I have never had a root canal and was really nervous. Dr. Factor explained everything so well and his calming voice was very reassuring. I had laughing gas for the first time and Dr. Factor explained how that would feel and what to expect during the procedure. I was shocked at how I did not have any painful or uncomfortable moments, even when the needles were put in. The young woman who assisted was very lovely also. Dr Factor correctly diagnosed my toothache as a sinus infection, so I didn't need the root canal treatment that I thought was necessary. Thank you Dr Factor.

Dr.Factor did a really amazing job surgically treating my infected root canal. I thought he procedure would take hours, but he completed it less than 45 minutes and was really efficient. I followed his post-procedural instructions and my gums and teeth were healed within a week without complications. The dental assistants were also really great and helped make me less nervous entering the procedure. The receptionist was also really great and processed my insurance forms for me very quickly. Dr Factor said instead of redoing the root canal he would go in through my gum. He did not say he was cutting my gum, pulling it back and going through my jaw bone. It takes a long time for the bone to heal. I heard yesterday from 2 friends that the surgeon could insert bovine bone and this greatly helps the bone to heal. He never mentioned this option. It's been almost 6 weeks and I still have episodes of excruciating pain.
