Dr. Ballas is the absolute BEST! He has seen me through multiple high risk pregnancies with phenomenal care! I have rare and unusual health issues; he researched the conditions and provided fantastic care! During Military moves, we came home hundreds of miles for Dr Ballas’ care. After a placental abruption at an Army hospital, we even drove home to deliver our babies with Dr. B! I still drive for my annual exam for the care of this amazing doctor! Dr. Ballas was my obgyn for over 8 years. He delivered both of my children via cesarean section. I followed him from weirton to wintersville for my gyn needs. My second baby was born in December. Dr. Ballas played Christmas music and serenaded us while he performed my c section. He puts you at ease with his compassionate, caring personality and his charisma. Dr. Ballas, in conjunction with his nurse practitioner Sandy Lang quite literally saved my life. I had been to specialists from Pittsburgh and Wheeling and was given no answers. I'd been in severe pain and misery for so long that I was suicidal. Dr. Ballas and Sandy got answers and while I still struggle with pain and other issues, We have tried different treatments, and I'm still here. I highly recommend Dr. B and Sandy as well.
I had a robotic hysterectomy done by Dr. Ballas. My recovery was fast. My pain was minimal. He has excellent people skills and would recommend him to any women needing surgery. Great doctor so blessed to have him in a small town. I didn't have to go to Pittsburgh for excellent professional care. Thank You Dr. Ballas!
