Dr. Colon-Rivera was professional and had a good bedside manner, which I appreciated. However, my visit was documented and coded differently than how the appointment was scheduled, an annual physical. Because of this, I was charged at the office after the visit and my routine labs were later processed as self-pay, resulting in unnecessary out-of-pocket costs. Just took my money. Lied to me about helping me. Went to them because I was sick and needed a check up and doctors note providing me days off. They did not see me as their patient they saw me as someone who they can lie to so they can take my money since I was an “out of pocket” patient. Person on the phone was rude did not let me speak to a manager or supervisor either after I had asked nicely so I can get more information. This was my first visit and Doc Malieri was super patient with all my Qs, sweet and gives great professional options and advice. Would totally recommend her to anyone. I drove from St. Pete for my annual and don’t regret it! The front desk staff were super kind too and the office is very clean and well maintained.
