For any of you not on the concierge program needing prescriptions for a controlled prescription like Xanex don’t accept her explanation that it’s a new law to have appointment EVERY MONTH!!! Total money grab.Its always been TWICE a year n still is! I’m done with her and her constant rudeness plus yelling at me for needing sleep help with same dosage 20 years before I came to her. Preach to someone else. Worst uncaring Dr I’ve ever seen n I’m 80? Good luck to her poor patients
Dr. Qayyum is perhaps the worst physician I’ve encountered. Rushed, rude, and disrespectful. I was taking a medication for PTSD and she didn’t want me to take it. I understood her reasoning, but instead of us making a plan to step down on the medication she sent me home with a prescription for less than I was taking. This was dangerous. Dr Qayyum Is the most caring doctor my husband and I have ever had. She listens actively without interruption, explains medical information in a way you can understand, and makes sure you have the right resources for a healthy life. She also gives you peace of mind by addressing your concerns and anxieties. She deserves 10 stars in our book.
I’m an orthopedic surgeon. I sought out treatment with Dr Qayyum for my parents. Before my mom was treated by Dr Qayyum, she was rapidly deteriorating such that I was concerned that she might expire in a few months. My mother is now thriving and is in the best health of her life due to Dr Qayyum’s committed, empathic and timely care.
I am a University of Central Florida college of medicine (UCF COM) student completing a family medicine rotation with Dr. Qayyum who is an assistant clinical professor at UCF COM. She is a wonderful teacher who has helped spark my interest in outpatient family medicine. She has a passion for teaching students which is evident by her commitment to teaching medical and nursing students in their medical training. She is also a great role model physician who is committed to the care and well being of her patients.
