My husband and I have been seeing Dr. Tantawi for a dozen years or more. We are so in Love with her. She is compassionate and thorough. She is very patient and listens. She has never pushed any drugs or treatments on us for any pharmaceutical rewards. It is harder then you think to find a doctor who you can truly trust and will care about you as if you were family. Love Dr Tantawi and her wonderful staff. Sandy is the best.
I loved Dr Tantawi. It's a shame i can't go there anymore because of her receptionist. Receptionist took 4 months to get me a referral that the Dr had approved. Then post-op my surgeon required me to do a follow up visit with primary care. Receptionist refused to give me one, talked down to me and tried to gaslight me into thinking it wasn't normal to see your family dr after surgery. The best thing she can do is fire that incompetant and manipulative woman.
Avoid this healthcare provider. She misdiagnosed my mother with cancer without explaining lab results and what led her to that conclusion. My mother went to specialists to further look into it and thankfully cancer was not found and the doctors were very confused as to why Dr. Tantawi would tell her that. She also prescribed medicine to my grandmother that she should not be on given her age and condition - once again, we found out from a specialist that she should not be on this medicine because it could give her kidney fail... read more
She has a great attitude toward her patients. Love the way she encourages us to hit our goals. Great doctor.
