Went to ER, supposedly he was the admitting Dr. at the time, he never had a conversation with me at admitting. Only saw him at discharge (next day), where he tells us he’s an internist and there is nothing he can do. After discharging I went through the visit notes. He blatantly lied on my medical record. Now it’s in my permanent records, I have to fight to get it amended. He does nothing, he attacks you personally, he lies, he doesn’t answer questions. Please avoid at all costs.
Ego driven, inaccurate in summary notes of hospital care and conversation, careless. Totally unacceptable bedside manner.
Careless doctor very rude and no bed side manner, disrespectful and disappointing
How can this Dr refuse to see patients and discuss plan of care while in hospital and assigned as their physician? He is compensated for being the doctor and yet he leaves the nurses and other healthcare workers to try and explain diagnosis and treatments. He literally REFUSES to speak to patients and caregivers if he doesn’t feel like it. When he does speak, he speaks over you and disregards anything you have to say. Dr. Al-Shami is the best family doctor. He was also my doctor at Beaumont Troy when I was admitted for Flu A, Pneumonia and Water on the Lungs. He took good care of me and was very patient in answering medical questions to a non medical engineer. He is very thorough and professional and I trust his opinion to be in my best interests. Thank you for taking such good care of me. 😊
