My experience with Dr Mehta was unfortunately very brief and ultimately unhelpful. After the first consultation which didn’t last longer than 5 minutes,, his diagnosis was for me to receive three cortisol injections. During this process, my pain threshold and the severity of my symptoms felt overlooked. I followed the recommendation and completed all three injections, but there was no improvement at all. I am now 1year and 3 months post total knee replacement and 3 months post total hip replacement performed by Dr Meta. I found him to be very professional and also very personable, with a genuine interest in my husband and I as people. Both operations were very successful, walking unassisted after my knee at 2 weeks and with my hip after 5 weeks. My mum had a knee replacement a year ago with Dr Meta at the age of 82 and the mobiiity she has regained has been remarkable. Dr Meta and his team were professional, kind and patient and we would recommend his care without reservation. In hindsight she would have done the surgery earlier if she had known what amazing improvement was to be expected. She’s now walking 6000 steps a day and managing a flight of stairs several times a day. Not bad for 83! Thank you Dr Meta!
