I gave one star because I really appreciated meeting Dr. Salek, and especially the fact that he honors MediCal patients. The staff was also very kind to me when I was there. However: the treatment plan Dr. Sakek designed was basically denied by MediCal...so I called to find out how to proceed moving forward. The woman I spoke with listened to me, made notes, and told me she would consult Dr. Salek and give me a call before the end of the day. That was 10 days ago!!! And still no call!!! I have been going here for 3 years. Each time I see a different person. I saw the actual dentist once. They changed their appointment confirmation system in January without any notification. I called 3 weeks before my appointment to see if I could come in a little later and it was not possible, so I confirmed my existing time. I never got another message from them and when I showed up for my appointment last week, I was told that it was cancelled, because I didn't respond to a text message (I never received). I took my elderly father there once to get four rotten teeth extracted. He refused to takeout his teeth without giving my dad dentures. This guy was a real salesman and in his most sincere voice said that he just couldn't take those teeth out comfortably without giving him dentures. He began the procedure and I left my dad there.
