My daughter’s appointment was set a whole year in advance. Received a text the morning of that my appointment had been cancelled. I called to attain more information. Once on the phone with the scheduler I was advised that the appointment was still scheduled and to come in for my appointment. My first visit with Dr. Kurup was informative and I felt like I was heading a good direction. After a few months of being taken off of birth control to get an idea of what my normal cycles look like, I started to experience new symptoms that seemed uncorrelated so I followed close care with my PCP only. I was a patient here for about 8 months. I came in for severe periods and Dr. Kurup prescribed me birth control. When I had a severe menstrual episode that sent me to the e.r. I followed up with Dr. Kurup. She accused me of not taking my BC (which I'd informed her I was taking) then told me repeatedly it was NOT an issue with my reproductive system. Dr Kurup was aware Im fresh out of going through chemo for breast cancer. 13 months of chemo. So you would think she knows i take my health serious. After having an abnormal ultrasound I needed a procedure done. My car broke down. I have COTA pass so getting to & from work was ok. I work 2jobs. But I couldn’t get to health screening location on bus. So i had to reschedule. I did so in plenty of time. New apt a month later. 3 weeks later, still no car.
